A NEW VISITATION SCHEDULE WILL BE IMPLEMENTED
VISITATION WILL BE WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY
MALES - 8AM - 2:00PM, Sign in times will be 8AM, 9AM, 10AM, 12PM, 1PM and 2PM.
FEMALES - 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM, Sign in times will be 3:30 PM and 4:30PM.
ALL VISITS WILL BE 25 MINUTES IN DURATION. ALL VISITS WILL BE SCHEDULED AS FOLLOWS, CALL IN ON SUNDAY PRIOR FROM 8AM TO 4PM TO SIGN UP FOR THE WEDNESDAY VISIT AND THURSDAY PRIOR FROM 8AM TO 4PM FOR THE SATURDAY VISIT.
2 ADULT AND UNLIMITED CHILDREN PER VISIT.

45 MINUTE VISIT PER INMATE - THESE WILL NOT BE CONTACT VISITS. THEY WILL BE BEHIND THE GLASS. EACH INMATE WILL BE ALLOWED 2 VISITORS WITH UNLIMITED KIDS.

Visitor Rules - Main Jail |
|
- Cell phones are allowed in the lobby but not the visitation booth
- Visits are conducted through the glass and phone hand set.
- Conversations may be recorded.
- We will offer two (2) twenty-five (25) minute visits per week.
- Only 2 people are allowed to visit at a time not counting children.
- No cell phones or cameras allowed inside facility.
- Visitors must show picture ID.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No food or drink may be brought in by visitors.
- No contact orders shall be enforced during visitation.
- Any visitor appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or any visitor who is loud or unruly will be asked to leave and may be arrested.
- No weapons concealed or otherwise.
- Inmates in isolation are only allowed visitation once a week.
- Clergy may visit an inmate once a week during regular business hours for one hour.

Workhouse Visitation Rules |
|
- 45 minute visits are held for the Workhouse inmates on Sundays.
- Visits are held at the main jail facility behind the glass.
- To schedule a visit for Sunday or Wednesday you must call on Saturdays from 8am - 12pm.
- Workhouse inmates will be given the option of one 45 minute no contact visit Sunday as assigned or one 45 minute no contact visit on Wednesday morning at 6:30am.
- Contact the main jail for the time assigned to the inmate you wish to visit.
- you must be signed in by the visitation start time.
- No CELL PHONES or CAMERAS allowed.
- Visitors must show picture ID upon request.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No food or drink may be brought in by visitors.
- Any visitor appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or any visitor who is loud or unruly will be asked to leave and may be arrested.
- Persons who have been housed at the work house or have felonies pending shall not be allowed to visit workhouse inmates without prior approval of the Jailer.
- No weapons concealed or otherwise.
- if you are on Probation or Parole you must have permission from your Probation/Parole officer in writing.

- This is a tobacco free facility. Any unauthorized items (drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, weapons, etc.) brought into the Jail may constitute a crime and may be prosecuted.
- Persons found to be leaving contraband for an inmate may be prosecuted.

- SECTION 520.50 - PROMOTING CONTRABNAD IN THE 1ST DEGREE
- A PERSON IS GUILTY OF PROMOTING CONTRABAND IN THE 1ST DEGREE WHEN:
- HE KNOWINGLY INTRODUCES DANGEROUS CONTRABAND INTO A DETENTION FACILITY OR PENITENTIARY; OR
- BEING A PERSON CONFINED IN A DETENTION FACILITY OR A PENITENTIARY, HE KNOWINGLY MAKES, OBTAINS, OR POSSESSES DANGEROUS CONTRABAND.
- PROMOTING CONTRABAND 1ST DEGREE IS A CLASS D FELONY.

Families will need to register for an account before they can do anything. They can do that online themselves or call 1.800.622.8166 for a CareACell rep to assist them.
Commissary is held twice a week with delivery on Monday & Thursday and an inmate may purchase any necessary hygiene or paper goods at that time as well as food and beverage items. The money must be on the inmate account by Thursday's cutoff of 6:00 am for Monday delivery and Tuesday's cutoff at 6:00 am for Thursday delivery. If an inmate owes money to the jail ½ of money deposited on the account will be applied to fees owed. Money put on an account for commissary to be directed to a different inmate may be confiscated by the Jail. |

Care-A-Cell offers gift basket sales. The gift baskets are sold as pre-packaged items and purchased by family and friends of inmates for them to receive directly to their facility. There are no refunds for video call sessions terminated by the JAIL.
The inmate will have to use a Kiosk that has a handset. There is one in the Library at the main jail and the kitchen at the Workhouse.

A Deputy will need to be present during these visits or monitor them through VendEngine.
All video visitations are subject to recording and monitoring.
No indecent exposure or nudity is allowed.
No drugs, alcohol or illegal activity.
No abusive or disruptive behavior.
You will be considered in violation of a Judge's order if you schedule a visit with someone who you have been ordered to have no contact with.
Anyone who violates any of these conditions may have their visit terminated by the Jail with no refund and their visitation privileges suspended.

Money may be left for an inmate in the form of cash or money order. Money may be left during regular business hours or during visitation. If an inmate owes money to the jail ½ of money deposited on the account will be applied to fees owed. Upon release any money on an inmate account will be applied to fees owed.
Due to new banking regulations, beginning 07/21/14 all money orders that come to the Calloway County Jail must be made payable to the Calloway County Jail and reference the inmate for whom the money order is intended in the lower left hand corner.
Money orders not prepared in this manner will not be accepted for placement on the inmate's account.
It should be noted that the Jail is not required to accept money via mail. We do this as a convenience for inmates and their family. Should this change in policy become a problem for the jail we will discontinue accepting any money by mail.

Upon release any money on an inmate account will be applied to fees owed.
Inmates released from custody owing money may sign a billing agreement and pay accordingly or be subject to civil or contempt action.

- Inmates participating in work release through District Court must have it approved by Court prior to being released for work.
- Ample travel time each way, to and from work, will be allowed.
- If you do not return from work on time your work release may be terminated.
- If alcohol/drug use is detected work release may be terminated and you may be found in Contempt of Court.
- Inmates who are on work release and are not at work may have their work release terminated.
- Persons sentenced in District Court will be charged $30 for each day spent in jail.
- If sentenced in Circuit Court (but not a state inmate) persons will be charged $30 for each day you spend in jail.
- Inmates with work release must pay fees at the end of each week before being allowed release the next week.
- Inmates are responsible for all medical, dental and prescription expenses.
- Inmates with an unpaid balance upon release must make payment arrangements prior to release.
- If Jail fees are not paid as arranged you may be found in Contempt of Court.
- Meals are served at approximately 6:00am, 11:30am and 5:00pm. People who arrive after this time will have to wait until the next meal is served.

- Pictures are the only enclosures permitted to be mailed to inmates.
- Each inmate is allowed up to 10 photographs per package, but these MUST be printed on photo paper
- Printouts from the internet, colored pages, and provocative material (i) are not permitted and will be destroyed
- Provocative is generally defined as follows: "Causing annoyance, anger, or another strong reaction” or “arousing sexual desire or interest.”

Calloway County Kentucky CPC Voice Mail Instructions
|
|
The Calloway County Jail now has CPC Voice Mail available. With this new service you can now leave messages for the inmate at your convenience. Please follow the guidelines below on how to leave message in the CPC Voice Mail system.
- You will need the inmate’s CPC Voice Mail six (6) digit mailbox number. The inmate is provided the CPC Voice Mail mailbox number whenever a phone call attempt is made until the inmate sets up their CPC Voice Mail account.
- If the inmate cannot remember their CPC Voice Mail mailbox number they will need to contact customer service by dialing Option 5 from the Inmate Telephone System.
- You will also need to have a Direct Pay account set up with CPC. This can be set up by one of the following methods:
- Visiting www.inmatesales.com and setting up a new account.
- Setting up an account using one the CPC kiosks in the lobby of the Calloway County Jail.
- Contacting CPC’s call center at 702-829-3001 and having a customer service representative assist you.
- Once you have the CPC Voice Mail mailbox number you will call 1-702-240-4370 to leave a message.
- The system will ask you to select a language for instructions; 1 for English, 2 for Spanish.
- The system will then ask you to enter your voice mailbox number followed by the pound (#) key.
- You will now hear the greeting that the inmate has left on his voice mailbox. You will then hear a disclaimer that the call may be recorded and monitored. To leave a message you must dial the “1” key. To hang-up dial 7 and to listen to the message again press 8.
- The system will then tell you to record your message at the tone and to press the pound (#) key at the end of your message.
- At the conclusion of your message the CPC Voice Mail system thanks you for your call and disconnects.
- There is a cost of $0.25 per voice mail to leave the message; this is deducted from your Direct Pay account. There is no charge for the inmate to listen to your message(s).
- Please note that if the inmate has been incarcerated at a different correctional facility where CPC offers Voice Mail the access number MAY have changed and the mailbox number for the inmate WILL HAVE changed. You can contact CPC at 1-702-829-3001 and one of our representatives will be able to assist you to make sure you have the correct access number and voice mailbox number.
